The Grid Chair is a compact, flat-packable occasion chair, assembled with dry-fitted cardboard pieces that are both taken apart and assembled in under 4 minutes, making it the perfect chair for saving space. Connected by using the slotting method, this chair intends to bring a breeze of fresh air to any living room regardless of the size. 
The main aim was to design a chair that was easily and minimally packaged as possible, simplicity throughout, from the shapes of the pieces to how it would be connected and shipped. A chair that had pieces each equally important, that would create a simple yet aesthetically pleasing chair when put together, while also being easily assembled and small-space friendly.  
The Grid Chair is a slotted, dry-fit chair made up of 15 cardboard pieces with an additional removable cushion.
The 5 main pieces and the 10 vertical slot pieces create a crate form on the seat which has a slight descending curve towards the back for added comfort. This chair also comes with a detachable cushion, made from 4 layers of laminated chipboard. The cushion makes the crate seat more comfortable to sit on while also embracing the form with its cut-outs.
With it’s fairly easy assembly, The Grid Chair requires about 4 minutes to be put together.
