HOLOCAMERA

Concept Statement This installation uses light refraction and diffration to  createtheillusion of a realisticthree-dimensional image within a glass volume as people walk around it.
Refraction  Refraction of light is the bending of light as it passes from one medium to another.
Diffraction Diffraction is the slight bending of light as it passes around the edge of an object.
Location Analysis I chose this position because the view on the first water was broad, and there was no obstruction around it. So you can provide the device with as much light as possible. The second water will increase the reflection of light to a certain extent, which is better for viewing. Third, this is also an excellent place to watch the sunrise and sunset. People can enjoy the natural scenery while interacting with the installation.
This is a floor plan and sectional view of the device. On this device, people can either interact with the holographic projection device in the middle, or ask various friends to take pictures here. It is also a favorite place for photographers and artists, where people can sit here to reflect on themselves and collect different creative materials.
I was inspired by a simple holographic projection machine I made by myself at home. The installation only required a simple, transparent tetrahedron to complete a simple 3D projection, which made me very interested and started to develop this study model. The most significant difficulty is how to get rid of the light source of the mobile phone, provide a stable light source for the device, and also need to have a clear image in the end.
