My challenge is to design a “hotel market hall” for a new boutique hotel opening in the financial district in New Yotk City. The space will need to accommodate both hotel lobby lounge functions and the food market/hall functions. The goal is to explore the synergy between the two and create a new type of public space. Concept: Concept: The District hotel makes people feel like they found their urban escape by offering a simple creative designed food hall and lounge with pops of art work.
